Contented Nomads

New at blogging, I'm getting help from my niece Natalie Schmucker, who is visiting us this week. What better place to begin a blog about living abroad than in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. What better day to begin than Palm Sunday.

My husband Bob Gravelin and I arrived in San Miguel on March 20th after a whirlwind month of selling our house, selling our furniture, and packing what remains into a 10 foot by 10 foot storage unit. Deciding to sell the home we both love was not easy, but I do feel free at the moment, without a home and with less stuff. Time will tell if, when, and where we decide to settle down again, but for now, we are contented nomads.

Here is our new home--our 10 x 10 storage unit in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where my brother Terry Yoder and his family (Joanie, Alyse, and Austin) live.
